Is this a nice Christmas gift?

There was silence for one year. I dated this man two years ago. We met maybe 3 times? I wrote to him and he wrote back to me, saying that he often thought of me.

I sent him a package:

- a bottle of coke

- a real retro old Coke-glass

- a keychain with a Porsche 911 Carrera

is this a good "small" gift for a veteran? Or is it such a small gift - it is a shame?

I'm sure he appreciates good food. He doesn't drink alcohol and cooks for himself. He doesn't like eating out because then he doesn't know what's in the food. Whether good or bad ingredients are used. I know he likes to drink cola—cheat day. But not large amounts. I don't know what is customary in our type of relationship. I'm unsure what I could buy. I can get something else when we meet again, as a gift. I am open to further suggestions. He called me Boo—I asked if I was still his Boo, and he said yes.

If you’re worried about what kind of food he eats, buy him some presents, depending what you can afford

Since he has more money than I do, it's more about giving him something he doesn't know and will like. It's about thinking about what will make the recipient happy. That's not always so easy. I'll think about what specialties I know, but food is a good idea. Thank you very much.

Why don’t you find out What’s his favorite restaurant and give him a gift card that’ll solve your problem.

He doesn't usually eat out. For the reason mentioned above. When I visited him, he always cooked. We never went to a restaurant.

The food thing is not working out he’s very picky and you don’t really know what he likes. Just find out what he likes on something totally different. Maybe he wants a new leather, Italian wallet or another cell phone or other type of gifts get him something like that forget the food. besides all you’re offering is a keychain and a soda. That’s not a big deal. If he can’t afford it, you’ll have to get him something like some kind of a toy that men like.

You carry your keys with you every day. That's why I thought it would be a nice gesture / gift. It was an impulsive response. He doesn't say much about himself. I don't know where he works or what he did in the military. He showed me a certificate, but never said what his position was. I don't know anything about the military and can't make sense of what I saw.

I sent him a Coke before and he liked it. That's why I did it. To remember the beginning.
