After much red tape (delay) and a birth certificate issue causing the delay I finally got my passport today. I leave for vacay with my sis in 14 days.🍒

I was wondering the other day how you were coming with getting your passport, as I remember your original post regarding trying to get a birth certificate. Well that is good news! How long did it take to get the passport once you had the birth certificate and submitted the application with photo? For me, it only took a few weeks after my appointment, to get it in the mail.

Thanks, a huge relief now. Since the holidays caused a setback, it was put in the system last Friday. I paid $82 for the expedite and a rush over night fee too. I had too because I leave in 13 days.
