They highly encouraged me to go to college, which I most certainly did. But my career choice was up to me. I ended up majoring in something medical related, which is what I was interested in anyway. Education & Career

In a lot of areas in the US, it is less competitive for a man to get into a nursing program. Not saying that it is "easy". Just less competitive. I think they recognize that male nurses are fewer... Education & Career

Yes you can. It is a little harder than when you are much younger. But sure, you still can learn a foreign language. Education & Career

I'm all for college but in today's world now, more than ever, it really pays to major in something where you can actually get a job and make at least somewhat decent money. Education & Career
