#4 looked the most... real. like... i would want to be friends with that couple. lol. honestly... if i were engaged, i'm not sure i'd want engagement pictures... like... what is that for? i don't want to be doing romantic things while some photographer is taking pictures. lol. that's weird. if anything, i'd rather we be the photographers and just... have a collection of real, candid pictures that showed the good, bad, and ugly.

Mine are most like four and eleven, and we did a big balloon release like the Up movie 😊 I love them more than our wedding photos

For those dismissing the idea of engagement photos though, the main idea is to get to know your wedding photographer and get used to their style and work out any kinks before the big day. You can't reshoot wedding photos, it's a good idea to have a practise run with such a big investment

Engagement photos are so cheesy and lame, especially the "putting your foreheads together" pose.
I've also never understood the concept of taking photos celebrating the planning of getting married. Why not just take wedding photos when you're actually married?
