I believe it is because they want to have someone to go home to and to be taken care of. They have to fill a void. Power struggle. A control factor. they can do it but their faithful loyal wife would never do such a thing. Have their cake and eat it too type of deal.

one reason is because it's what people are taught to do. your entire life is nothing but being told to go to school, behave, get a job, get married, have kids, then repeat what you have been told back to your kids. it's just what people are told to do

I don't know. But I have met more woman who Mary simply for money than men who Mary just to be "womanizers"
