If men are phisically stronger than women, why don't they do the housework?

If men are phisically stronger than women why don't they do the hard work and serve Women? (Cooking, cleaning, washing dishes...)
I beleive men are phisically stronger, but women are mentally stronger. So let women rule and men serve

It because of the way we used to live an think for the past few centuries. People thought that women would be better at taking care of the children because 1; they're the mother, 2; women are portrayed as being more 'gentle' which is suitable when raising a child. They were also seen as fragile since men were stronger; that's why they didn't participate in wars.
I get your point, and I'd love to see men help their family out with more than just providing for them (not saying all men do so), but after all this time it's difficult to break this continuing pattern

Actually yes in case of war, phisical strength men are better

Because traditionally, men were at work and women were at home. If you've got 8 hours by yourself and no work, it makes sense that you'd get the housework done.

Obviously it's far more mixed today, meaning men and women who live together often split the house chores in some way.
I don't see how it's fair for someone to work all day, and then come home and be the one doing most of the work at home as well.

Well not really, most of women work today, even in the past, my mom works, my grandma used to work too. Women and men propably spend the same amount of time at work but women do housework and their job as well

When I say traditionally, I'm referring to old times where women didn't often work at all. We're taking at around 1900 for some countries.

That said, from personal experience I do believe women tend GENERALLY to put more effort into house cleaning.
That could just mean that women are more particular about the order and appearance of their home though, it doesn't necessarily mean men are being sexist assholes.

Because woman show love by caring and nurturing; men by protecting and providing. Yes dates back thousands of years but basic instinct too. Roles are mixed now because people are single longer and have to care for themselves

Yes that's almost a 1000 years ago but now both men and women work the same amount of time and not really hard work.

I never saw it done between both partners to be honest. But sientifically it's a fact, the only thing men are better than women at is phisical strength.
And yes it requires phisical strength, standing all day in the kitchen, cleaning, preparing beds. While the husband is sleeping on the sofa

Umm me and my boyfriend do split it, my parents did, his parents did, my bestfriend and her husband do... seems pretty common to me ^^
Housework doesn't take "all day" by the way. at least not if its done regularly.
