Why doesn't people want kids at there wedding I don't understand?

Seems odd to me. Maybe they are worried about the wedding being disrupted. I'm not sure. I had a few at mine and they were well-behaved, including my now niece-in-law as a flower girl. I can understand not wanting kids at the party after, like when the drinks start to flow. But not the wedding ceremeony.

They're snotty brats who misbehave and cause issues. Younger ones screech and get upset constantly and older ones don't want to be there anyway.

If they are providing food for guests then children would be an added cost to them. Parents who can’t arrange child care can stay home.
