Our wedding was small and intimate, just close family and Just the adults from our 2 families were there. There was maybe like 15 people.
We were at the home of a justice of the Peace where she often did weddings. She had a beautiful yard and big deck with flowers everywhere and her property overlooked a lake. It was a beautiful day and my ex looked amazing in her wedding dress. She looked like Jennifer Lopez that day, same makeup and everything.
Her mother walked her out and we said our vows, kissed, and took a whole bunch of pictures. Her sister looked pissed off and jealous in all of them, lol.
Then we all went and had a big meal at a nice restaurant that was only open to us that day. Then we drove away on our honeymoon and lived happily ever after until it went to shit, lol.

Did it on a farm. My buddy got ordained to marry us. Then we had a party at a lake house.

We invited both of our churches, plus a huge chunk of the local Asian community. There were nearly 200 people at the ceremony, and about 150 at the reception. We had a traditional ceremony at a church, along with a sand pouring ceremony. Then a reception at the big gym type building that was at the other church where we had dinner. The Asians brought traditional dishes as appetizers, which were a big hit. We also had a money dance, which is tradition for my mom's culture. We got like $400 out of that. All the venues were free, and the whole wedding and reception probably costed under $2k. I wore my mom's wedding dress, so that was also free. I think everything was a pretty good price, and it was definitely one of the best parties I've ever been to at a wedding.

We did the traditional Church wedding, with all of the usual stuff.
White gown, with “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” (and a six pence in my shoe).
Fairly formal reception, with cake, food, and plenty of toasts.
