Am I crazy for not wanting a photographer for my wedding?

Myself and husband to be both hate how we look in 95% of pictures and also just don’t like having our pictures taken in the first place. So many wedding photos of family and friends at their weddings all look the same with too many similar/cliche shots that just bore me to look at. Am I weird for feeling this way? Is there a way to save money on something we both don’t really like the idea of while still having just a few shots we’ll actually like so we don’t regret not having any later?

That day goes by SO FAST and as the years march on with good and hard times it becomes difficult to remember where it all began.

Absolutely not. Do your wedding how you want to do it, things don’t have to be traditional.
