Both of those men look way better to me without the beard. Of course it's their choice on how they want to look, but to answer your question, no I probably wouldn't. I don't really like beards on men anyway.

Now, this, although it's a superficial question, is honestly an understandable one. What if he shaves and you don't like his jawline (or maybe lack thereof) or rugged strong chin (or, again, lack thereof). Solution: ask to see what he looks like without. He'll either pull up a picture or shave, if he's mature about it.
