Girls, do you find big beards attractive and based on appearance only would you date a guy with a big beard?

So I have a recently single friend who looks just like this with a big beard and stache and kinda hairy looking. He’s not having luck dating right now. My advice was maybe you should get rid of or trim down that beard, it’s a lot. Agree or disagree on the advice?

I'm about to be no help at all lol. When I first met my boyfriend, he warned me he had a big beard (we met online). He did get it cleaned up before we met, but it was still the biggest beard I'd ever dated 🤣 Anyway, I wasn't initially super attracted to the beard, but we had the most amazing first date, and the beard quickly became a non-issue. Now, we've been together almost 2 years. He has shaved down to stubble a few times, and even though he looks "technically" cuter without the beard, the beard is just part of who he is. It comforts me in some weird way, and I always find myself missing it when it's gone.

As for your friend, sure, he could shave off his beard to attract more girls, but the question is, does he want to attract someone who will always expect him to shave his beard off? It doesn't sound like he's too keen on that idea. So while he may attract less women with the beard, at least the ones he DOES attract will like him exactly as he is.

The most important thing is, that he feels comfortable. It makes no sense to change your body just for other people, it's your body and you're living in it, not others.

I like them with or without, but big beards can tickle me pretty good. So if he is kissing and I start laughing, that is exactly why... I can't help it.

If we are intimate, and he is kissing up and down my body and his beard happens to be rubbing my body, that is quite the sensation.

I don’t mind big beards temporarily. If a man wants it he wants it. But living with it all the time isn’t something I would love. If I had something changeable that bothered them I would switch it out too.

At 22, I wouldn't like my dude whos similar to my age to have a beard. they just scratchy and meh.
I would definitely prefer a dude more trimmed down than that of the picture.

I don’t like beards at all, especially not bigger ones. And yes, your friend would most likely have more luck with dating without the beard or at the very least if he trimmed it down a lot.
