Would you rather live in an urban, suburb, or rural area?

These are taken from nc. So far I like the urban metropolitan areas. a lot of young professionals and great social scene

In town. So technically not city, something like a suburb, but all the homes won't look alike. I just need a neighborhood with at least 10 homes and for sure dont wanna be back in the rural countryside. Rn we are in something like a suburbs that comes before the countryside. But all the homes look similar and further down the road but on the same road its horse ranches for neighbors, snakes/deer/bobcats everywhere, and nothing in walking distance but a gas station. I dont like living way outside of city limits

This would be ideal. Like 10 homes sharing a street but not an actual suburbs and all the homes differ. This was better and more if my childhood

I live outside of city limits but not quite the countryside. Basically the suburbs because all the hosue are similar to one another. But further down the road is even nicer horse ranches. You’d have to drive at least 2-3 miles to reach teh actual countryside here

Yep so its like a suburbs but a mini one. The main subs here are like 50-100 houses in one division. Thats too many people. I’d get paranoid. We have 20-30 but in terms of where i’d like to build a home, a sub of 10 homes will do. I refuse to date these dudes who want a cabin in the neck of the woods. Lol they just give me wife beater vibes and wanna make sure can't nobody hear you scream when u try to escape 😂

Hell no , cabin in the woods. I can't deal with those type either 🤣. Then urban may probably fit the bill for you. You're young me and you are around the same age.

Urban has too much crime. I just prefer “in town”. Its kinda like if you dont live downtown but you live like a 10 minute drive from downtown

I've lived in all 3, and each has something to offer. When we're young, we like the stimulation of the city, but we can overload on the constant intensity. For the past 30 years, I've chosen to live a simple, tranquil life in the country. I love the peace and quiet. Listening to the red-tailed hawks cry out as they soar overhead is very relaxing. Nature, in and of itself is also very relaxing and grounding. As I've become more comfortable with me, I no longer require quantity to prove myself and no longer need constant external entertainment. The ideal in life is to be at peace with ourselves.

I live on a large island about the size of Manhattan. I live in the village area of things. There is no suburban area, just some places that are on the "other side" of the island. I suppose that's as close to rural as you can be, but no point that is more than a 40-50 minute drive from end to end.

If I had a good job and a decent wife I would definitely want to live rural but without a good job and a woman it could be hard to find both in a rural environment

It's true there are additional challenges living in the country, so it can be hard to find potential partners who appreciate that lifestyle. If you do find that special someone, you'll have a beautiful life. Never settle, just to have someone in your life.

I love big cities, sky scrapers, big cars, big SUVs, wide roads. I love hustle bustle of big cities. Small towns are boring, good for resting and relaxing.

Before Covid, I would have preferred living in an urban area, but now I'd prefer a suburb.

The city has too much traffic. The country is nice but too far away from the grocery store, etc. So suburbs have the best of both worlds.
