Countryside for sure. Although not too far from highways and civilization. I like being near a town and not to far from a city.

That's been my life for the last almost 20 years. I live in a rural area on 30 beautiful acres of oak grassland with an incredible view. We have necessities with in 10 min. away and are less than a half hour from two beautiful, dynamic, historic towns in the mountains to the east and a city that has all the big box stores, etc. in the valley to the west. We're also 45 min, to an hour from large cities.

I grew up in the suburbs on Los Angeles near the ocean. I LOVE all the top notch attractions in cities, but would never want to live in an urban environment.

I have lived in LA most of my life, so it's a big city [not considering the counties].
However, I really love to move to a countryside one day. The lifestyle and culture is attractive to me and more peaceful and friendly!

Although, at the end of the day, nothing beats the traditional American house style, the small community, the house with tile ceilings, garage, backyard, bushes and grass in front, patio, mailbox, and an American flag beautifully waving through the wind in front of the house. My most favorite of it all! the best!

I like both for different reasons. I love the city because you can go to a store any time of night. Not everything closes early like in the country. And there is usually a lot of choices of activities to do. But i love the country too because the schools seem better. More downhome people , no stupid gang violence and crap like that. Better scenery. Close community

I think I prefer the city more just because my high school was built near a farm and I could smell manure every spring from the farmers trying to fertilize their crops and the social scene was very isolating because everybody was white and hated pop and hip hop

I used to live in the city center of a big city and it was nice, now I live in the country, everyone in the locality knows each other and there is a garden around the house, that's how I like it today.
If i want to go shopping and experience the city live, i have an apartment in the center of moslau, then i fly there.

I'm a born and raised city girl but a country girl at heart. But I don't want to live so far out in the country to where my neighbors are miles away. I'd like to be close to the city but far enough so that the city smog doesn't hide the stars at night.

I've lived in the suburbs all my life, but hope to soon move to the country.

Some cities have beautiful architecture, which I can appreciate, but I don't care for city life at all.

The suburbs call purgatory to mind.
It's not total hell, but it sure isn't heaven.

Countryside. I just love it. It is more safe and I can hang out freely there unlike here where I need to ask permission from my parents every time. One of the reasons I love going to my home town.

It depends on where I'm not, at the moment I live in the country but work in the city so I'm back and forth and found most of the pluses to both are also downsides so it depends on mood. Usually if Im one place too long I start missing the other

Nature or death. I don’t know how city people do it. All that cement, steel, glass and the crazy energy of people on top of people. It’s so very draining just visiting a heavily populated area. Nature is recharging and healing.

Countryside. I used to think I liked cities, but honestly driving would be exhausting, coming in contact with way too many people a day is exhausting, way too much traffic noise is exhausting

City all the way, even though countryside is cleaner and more beautiful, I’d get too bored! I need excitement in my life and city life provides that. But I’d definitely need frequent vacations to more natural places to recharge and relax lol
