1 to 3 year, that's enough time to know if you want be with someone for rest of your life. If not, then they are dragging you along unless you both have other priorities you want to settle before marriage.

I think it really depends on how well you get to know each other. If you're spending most of your time together to the point you know each other's quirks, etc then 6-9 months at the earliest. Otherwise, I'd say about a year.

Really depends on the couple. I do think 1 year minimum is a good idea. People who are older/more mature with similar values and compatibility can settle down faster
