How long does it usually take to propose to someone?

My buddy Sean has been dating this girl Lina for 3 years. When they first started dating, Sean said he was gonna propose after 8 months and marry her after a year. Now, after 3 years he still hasn’t even introduced her to his parents or any family at all. What’s your next on that?

Depends on the couple. I’ve known people who got engaged after only a few months together. I worked with a lady who got married to her partner after they’d only known each other for 6 months. They’d been engaged since the second month. I’ve also known people who were together 10+ years before getting engaged. And there’s people who never get engaged or married, nothing wrong with that either. It is completely dependant on the individuals, their priorities and life goals.
