There are many countries where people wear a wedding ring on their right hand. Anyone knows why is that?

For example, in Europe, many Orthodox Christian countries wear rings on their right hand because of biblical reasons. The other reason behind it could be history and symbolism. On the left hand I think comes from the Egyptians and passed to us through the Romans

True. We are always reminded to do clean things with the right hand (even passing currency or drinking water) and dirty things with the left (eg cleaning your nose or wiping yur ass). That certaibly does not mean we do not wash our left hand every time 🤣🤣🤣
