These opinions say a lot about people's maturity level and obsession with themselves.
Marriage is hard too, might as well not do that either with that attitude. Just don't ever do anything inconvenient, no matter how fulfilling. Live like a 20 y/o for ever, that definitely doesn't sound hollow at all.
I don't even have kids and I can tell you children are the only positive contribution to the world most of us will ever make. Nothing worth doing is easy.
Tbh, it's probably just as well all you adult-children don't have kids.

Where are these women that don't want kids? I've meet a few who didn't want kids, yet they ended up having kids. More pros than cons being childless. They only con I can think of is when you are older no one family to take care of you? No one to pass down your stuff when you are gone maybe? Or il just donate it all to a good cause

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yPros: You save a ton of money, get more rest, and have more time to spend with your s/o, strengthening your relationship.
Cons: When you get old and can no longer care for yourself or each other, you'll be beaten and raped in an assisted living facility before slowly dying from neglect.13 Reply- +1 y
Well that's rather dark, certainly not every assisted living facility is that poorly run to where that could happen...
Opinion Owner+1 ySure. Not all of them. But way more than most people care to think about. Not a statistically insignificant number. You a gambling man?

I don't know if its too sensible to get married in the first place if you are not going to have kids?
Even if we don't want kids our bodies are biologically wired to seek a fertile mate.
If one had a lot of sex with a person for several years it meant that there was big chance of said person being infertile and by breaking up you had a chance of finding a suitable mate.

Pretty sure there have been married couples in the past who never had kids.

So you'd rather someone have a kid and then not properly take care of them?
- +1 y
If you are not financially able, then you can wait. If tou have some other physical or memtal impairelement, then it makes sense. Other than that, why would a normal human not take care of his/her child (ren)?

Hey @Billybob46 . Just take this as a brotherly advice. Well... Or may be, an "uncle"ly advice ๐คฃ
Don't be scared of that. The one who blesses you with the child, he also ensures that you have the means to bring him up as long as you are responsible towards family.
Also, i assure you, the joy the kid brings to your life, you cannot imagine a larger form of joy. Yeah, you will lose some sleep changing diapers trying to give your wife a break, but that is all becomes part of creating a caring bond between all of you.
Moreover, there will always be times when there is tension between the husband and wife. As long as you are a caring person, the kids, when they are very young, they become a source to give you relief.
Last but not the least, like others have pointed out, as you get older, you need support. Nobody else will cate for you like well brought up kids do. And you do. Ot need that support when its time to be theown into old age community living. You need it much sooner. Also, who would you want to pray for you after you are gone? This life is temporary and goes like a flash. But the next one is forever. The questioning there will be brutal. (Of course you will care for that only if you believe).
Now you can yawn.
