Should I get rid of my wedding dresses, or keep them, just in case?

I’ve got two wedding dresses and I don’t yet know if I’ll ever marry and I think they take up too much space. Should I put them in storage, or just get rid of them?

You save wedding dresses for your daughter. At the same time, you can sell them.

In 2001, my wife, who was married twice before me, got a nice classy (and I believe used) dress as a wedding dress for a few hundred dollars from Saratoga Trunk. I don't know what my wife did with it since but I believe she gave it away to the Salvation Army or something like that.

I don't know anyone, who saved their wedding dress, who ever used it again. Usually, their daughter wanted a more modern dress. Donate it to a store that will convert them to a prom dress for someone else who can't afford one. It would really make some girl's day!

I know when my sister got married she kept it I'm not even sure where it ended up eventually it came to our house when she moved away and then when she came back I think my mother gave it back to her but I don't know where she left it or who she gave it to after that she raised all boys so there was no daughter to hand it down to. Why would you want to keep it most men don't want to see their future wife in a dress that they already wore for another wedding. And unless you're going for the princess look at a wedding that you're so beautiful and and everything looks great for the wedding all the gallons match and all the men and their tuxes match, well I know I spent a lot of money on our wedding and after all the photo shoots of the gowns and the the father-daughter dance and the bridal dance and the money dance and we are all done with all that and it was time to just party my wife and I went up to the hotel room and changed into more relaxing clothing it is nice shirt on and shorts my wife was in shorts and a nice blouse and we just went down and had a party until 2:00 a. m. I just think it's a waste of money to spend all that money on a gown and Tux that you're going to take off and never wear again let alone we don't even keep the tux so why is the women keeping their dress.

You certainly won't need two so sell at least one. If neither is tied to a family tradition you can sell both. You can always rent or get a new one if you ever going to get married.
