Honestly, when woman do this it's a clear manipulation game. i am angry so I will not talk to you... like how does that really work out for you?

I used to hate this with my ex-wife. She would not get her way about something and she would go into this silent treatment act. I think we almost went two weeks without talking. It was absolutely soooooo f'ing childish.

But honestly it used to get me upset, but eventually I was glad she stop talking... because she wasn't nagging either. It was like blinking contest... eventually she always talked to me first.

But like I said she is my ex-wife... in general its very toxic behavior. It a form of emotional abuse or manipulation tactic.

At end of the day, it is about compromise. It's not about being right or wrong... it's about working together. Honestly, eventually after she started talking, I would apologize to her... but that was more or less to keep the peace. It's hard to apologize for something when you don't feel as though you are wrong. But I was always sincerely sorry that she got her feelings hurt. She would never accept that apology because she always maintained that if I was truly sorry then I would agree with her. And that is toxic as shit, it's clear emotional abuse and manipulation tactic.

In my case my ex-wife never apologized for anything. Like never... and she was very self-righteous in everything she said or did. In general, most men know and expect this from their SOs, because men are condition to put up with crap from woman. But if you were a truly good person... then you would tell him you are sorry for not talking to him. Because even though you two disagree, not talking to him is childish and you are better than that. So, you can be sorry for cutting him off... and you still disagree and try to work out a compromise from there.

When you refuse to apologize, then you are technically refusing to take responsibility for your own words and actions... and then projecting all the negatively back on him.

But if you refuse to talk then you are honestly refusing to compromise... and eventually enough will be enough for him... and it will end.

Of course I wouldn't like it. But you can't force her to communicate. Depending on my mood and te potential of getting her to communicate I might try to coax it out of her. But if I think she's being ridiculous and I'm just don't want to deal with it I might just ENJOY the silence.

Here's the thing. EVERY guy knows this is coming to a head eventually. And she's like a pressure cooker the longer you wait the bigger the explosion is going to be with her. Which is why smart guys who've been married a while routinely apologize to thier wives even if they don't know what they're apologizing for. It's just easier. 😆

Lol it’s funny, childish as well. But honestly a lot of men are happy because she’s not constantly in your ear. Women tend to talk too much especially about nonsense. It’s like when women would make the man sleep on the couch. I’ve never slept on the couch but even so you have a big tv, comfy couch, cable, video games, YouTube lol women think that’s a punishment like not taking to us.
