What was it like meeting your husband/wife? What were you like before meeting them? What are things you learned before and after meeting them?

I had technically known him when I was in middle school, we briefly went to the same really big church program and would end up playing games with eachother. Never really talked though lol when I was high school aged a friend reintroduced us. It was neat because both of us felt a click immediately, but awkward at the same time because a couple of my friends at the time were already into him. But my slow 17 year old brain had already decided that I was only going to be with someone older than me, so I ended up not even considering him for a while because I already knew he was younger. I knew quite a lot about him before because those friends would talk about him. Enough to think that he kinda sounded like a perfect fit for me. I don't know why the age thing tripped me up so much lol

So exciting. We had been talking online for months before meeting so by the time we met we were head over heels for each other! He brought flowers, chocolates, jewelry and then brought me to a buffet because I love to eat lmao.

I was a loner, extremely quiet, very awkward. No friends.
