Guys, would you consider that your money is your housewife's money too, or only your money?
That is the way we have led our marriage. No issues. Its all a matter of trust and level of responsibility of the wife. Fortunately, mine is extreme good at that. Its the materialistic amd high maintenance women who are generally less responsible.
Moreover, she wanted to put her amount of income (albeit a smaller amount) in a common account but I forced her to keep it in a separate sub account. Her income is her additional pocket money. I rather ler her enjoy it the way she likes.
It's called a PARTNERSHIP for a reason. What's mine is your what's yours is mine if you don't like that arrangement you need to stipulate that from the beginning.
Different partnerships have different dynamics so have thier own allowances to speak of. Some pay bill a, b, c while the other pays bill x, y, z. Each relationship has to work that out for themselves. But a housewife IS an occupation as well.
Tnx for sharing
No problem man.šš
In a way yes but also no. I mean in that form of marriage the kids and wife need to have money for groceries, clothes etc. But in the end he makes the finale desition. Becuse he earned it. But then again the wife and kids still have rights😅 That's how I see it at least:)
Amazing miss spongebobssocks, an instant MHO for your wise answer but always remember that in the end a hard working husband is working hard for his family, the money is there to be spent on the whole family's needs š
Also if there's some plus money, i'd like that they be spent on the husband and wife's fun and renewing their love š
Thank you for MHO š
Yes I will remember that. Wise said!š
You're welcome š
ššš»
If he is your husband his priority must be your and your kids needs. That is the deal.
Even thou I am a lone breadwinner my wife and kids have first claim on what I earn for them.
@monorprise that's nice of you!:)
No this is the vow I took when I married her and my responsibility to my children.
@monorprise šš»šš»
Ofc! In marriage, itās conjugal aināt it? Heās working and sheās running the household while heās away. Childcare aināt free and housekeeping isnāt either!
But it's her kids too and her house too, it ain't like a job that she's doing to get paid for...
The money is for the whole family yes...
The thing is that we shouldn't make as if the housewife role is a job with a monthly income...
So send the kids to daycare for $1000 each ⦠thatās how much youāre saving monthly if your wife is doing it all at home while you are work. Being a housewife is more than just a full time job
I know that, all i'm saying is that her shouldn't be taken as a job cause you're doing it for your family, kids and house...
"So send the kids to daycare for $1000 each ⦠thatās how much youāre saving monthly if your wife is doing it all at home while you are work. Being a housewife is more than just a full time job"
Okay so he should give her an allowance of $1,000 a month and anything he earns over that is his not hers?
$1,000 per child.
@RingOfFire yeah it's because she's raising the neighboors kids and not her kids š¤£š¤£
Never saw a woman who wants money to raise her own children...

Yeah I canāt even comment on this right now.. Iām too tired⦠but Iām pretty sure you can get an idea of what I would say🤷āāļø
It's their money ššš»
If you mean theirs as in his and hers, well yeah⦠I donāt think people get the whole single =me/married =we and what that all entails, but if Pepe donāt get it by now they should just stay singleš¤·āāļø
Who's pepe? šš
Ofc a husband and wife means we, my money is her money, split it in half, i get the benjamin franklin and she gets the george washington āš»š
And youāre still single⦠No womanās snatched you up by now.. I just donāt believe itš¤£
I'm hiding from a big spongy forehead because she's the one who wants to snatch my george washington bills... you won't get me sponge šš»āāļø______
Nah you safe.. aināt chasing you,š¤£
That's a joke so i stop running and suddenly the spongy forehead appears from nowhere and gets me and i lose game over, i have to find my fire hammer to i beat the final boss which is the gigantic spongy forehead šš¼āāļøšØš
Dude arenāt you tired of the same insult? I donāt have a spongy forehead, and if you think that bothers me, it just makes me laugh how people try to put people down. You should know by now that things said by people online donāt affect me like thatš¤·āāļø
But, hey carry onš¤·āāļøš¤£
I'm not a dude, i'm a real man š
Your spongy forehead ain't an insult, actually it is the thing that makes me like you more, it's your problem if it affects you or not, ofc i'll carry on spongy forehead š
Also after years, you must know by now if i'm someone who puts you down or not!
Simple answer... YES.
Marriage us a partnership, where you share things... money is one of them.
I believe it is both parties responsibility to take care of one another. That takes consideration of one another and love at all times. Give 100%at all times. It will balance itself out. Iām an independent woman that has raised my 15 year old daughter on my own. I've been dating the man I've been waiting for my whole life for the past year and for the first time in my life, i lost my job, and have been taken care of, without stress, or grief, it guilt, knowing everythingās taken care of and okay for the past month because i have an amazing man and partner. Iāve since found a new job and start in a few weeks, but anyone that knows what itās like to do things on your own, understand that during times like these are usually very stressful and i cannot stress enough this bottom line: itās not about money. Itās not about who what blah blah blah. You take care of one another. When their weak you pick up the slack and theyāre going to do the same for you. Fuck all this entitlement and finger pointing. Thatās not love.

In our household, we are partners and our incomes are shared for our mutual needs and our future.
My income goes into a joint account to which she also contributes to cover the monthly bills.
She is self employed and has a separate business account so as not to confuse her business expenses with our household bills and savings.
She has a cash-back credit card that we both use for gas and groceries. She pays that off every month so as to avoid interest payments.
I have a credit card with a 1% interest rate that we both use. I use it for on-line purchases but she usually uses her cash-back card for hers.
She also earns cash that we use for different things.
We make mutual decisions on larger expenditures.
But both of us consider our income to be mutual. We work together as a team, whether or not one of us earns more than the other. Neither of us are frivolous with money because we have to consider our future together.
Thanks for your insight!
Nope. Both husband and wife should contribute equally towards necessary household expenses and base expenses for their children's survival. Each should drop a certain amount into an operating account and maybe a reserve account each month. Beyond that, how each chooses to invest or spend their extra income should be up to them because they earned it. That doesn't mean either can't splurge and spoil their partner or children with some of their disposal income from time to time out of charity and kindness, but neither is entitled to what the other person is working for. Getting married isn't suppose to be a way to get access to someone else's earning potential. If you care for each other, you will take care of one another the best you can especially if hard times, sickness, or unemployment occur comes, but they aren't entitle to just dip into your account and blow your savings because you wanted to spend your life with them.
It depends on the deal between You. If it was the state-sanctioned parody of marriage and the relationship between us got strained, I'd never hand my potential enemy more advantage over me. If it was the true, traditional, purely Catholic marriage, though, I'd be perfectly fine with sharing my finances with my wife.
Well said!
No, under no circumstances whatsoever should a guy's money be considered mutually possessed by both he and his wife or girlfriend -- any and all money or other items/material of value should be considered solely and exclusively as the woman's property.
If she does a job... you pay her. If I do a job... fuck you, pay me. If I'm doing something that would cost you more like babysitting... fuck you, pay me.
With that said, if you try to cut me out and use me as cheap labor... I'm not going to say more... you should've just paid me and now there is consequences. And I will enjoy delivering consequences.
She gets what she earns. But I won't be a Jew about it... she'll get her tips.
It should be a team. That's what I meant to say. Think my inner troll is trying to come out.

My red pill boyfriend insinuates that man's role is to support the unit financially
What does he means by unit?
Than he's right about it
What do you mean by your dad left you? You mean that he divorced your mother and that you were raised by a single mother?
Wow, sorry to hear about that, that's what happens when the good turns to bad...
A man should be loyal to his wife and family only and forever...
You're welcome...
It really hurts a lot when you depend on someone and trust them blindly and finally they turn their back on you and break all their promises and stab you in your back...
That's right
Yes I think so. Me and my husband share all our money
ššš»
Whatever the couple decides, but if she is staying home and taking care of the children and the house, yes, she should at least have substantial access.
Agreed!
No not really in my opinion. I believe in sharing money to pay or go towards a common goal like paying the bills or buying a house together but it should never get confused with it propriety of everyone.
Yes, her money too except she has limited access to them and controlled spending.
Well ofc because there are bills to pay, food and drink and other stuff
Of course sometimes she can allow to buy something for herself and children and choose whatever food to buy, but spending of serious amounts of money must be discussed with partner/husband.
Agreed!
Yes if I had a house wife my money would be her money as well. Unless she is ungrateful or terrible spender. Then thatās my money.
Wisely said!
The couple is willing to die for eachother, surely he or she can spare some money for his wife or husband.
Tnx for sharing
LEGALLY, YES. ANY MONEY THAT YOU MAKE IS ALSO MONEY THAT YOUR WIFE OWNS. if you aren't aware of this unwritten rule, then you shouldn't get married.
this is what separates marriage from roommating.
I know that but the law says nothing about it...
@tonymetal___86
Under marriage law, any income husband earns , it is also considered wifes income. Thats why when you get a divorce, half goes to her and the other half goes to the husband
You may complain about this. But there's a reason why married men make more money than single men. Their wives do all their cooking, washing their underwear, raising the kids so he can spend more hours on his career.
He does his role and she does her's...
In a divorce she gets nothing if the problem was from her and if she cheats, she won't get a dime!
Anyways, a lot of men considers their money to be their money only, even if the wife is a housewife, but i personally would make my future housewife feels that it's her money too because in a real sacred marriage, there is no me and her, we are one, which means that everything we have is ours!
Why your words are dirty? Have some respect!
I would never marry a girl if i consider her a maid or a prostitute, i consider her as my other half, she is me and i am her, from where are you getting your imaginations and building your words upon them š
@tonymetal___86
why wouldn't she deserve your income if she washes your underwear, cooks your lunchboxes, does all your housework, raise all your kids? she gives you free sex. she's a free babysitter. she's also a free maid
she does all these things for you. why wouldn't she deserve your income?
It seems that you haven't read my question and my comments carefuly, i'm the one saying to everyone that a man works hard to earn the money so that he spend it all on his family and that there is no difference between him and his wife, which means his money is her money, she gives all her everything to her husband and family and he does the same for her, that's what i'm trying to say...š
@tonymetal___86
you said that if she divorces you, then she shouldn't get anything. well sweetie, if she was the reason why you made more money than ever before in your career, she deserves half. there's nothing free in life. if she was your maid , babysitter, prostitute for you, she deserves half.
It seems that you just can't keep it respectful...
You always have to use these dirty words, if i met a woman like you who keeps repeating these words, i'll never with her, even if she was the last girl on earth...
No wonder why your nickname is NASTYq
Are you really reading what i'm writing?
Denial of what, i also don't believe that you're reading what i'm writing cause it's like "are tou hungry, yes i am, are you hungry, yes i am, but if you don't eat now you will be hungry so are you hungry, yes i am...š¤£š¤£
I'm not arguing with you anymore, think as you wish...
šš okayyyy
Well our money is in an account with both of our names on it. We also both have private accounts and lastly my companies money belongs to it, and is controlled by me. So yes and no.
Yes tf y'all a team. Teamwork makes the dreamwork. And that goes if the woman is working and the man is at home taking care of business. It shouldn't matter. Together it makes one person!
I agree about both of them making one person
In a traditional household where the man works and the woman stays home? Yes. In a modern feminist piece of shit household no.
Well said!

And like a dog he says "bark yes bark yes" šš
its only your money make this clear to your "houswife" as this will give her a wake up call to get out of a relationship where she is being called a houswife ie devalued.
What do you mean?
you should worthship your wife and treat her like a queen you dint seem to love your wife and she diserves better.
Who the hell are you, f*ck off!
When i lived with my ex i considered it ours.
Which was stuoud because she had a job
Thanks for sharing
Technically yes but there are too many thief and change of hearts. It's safe to keep their own
A housewife needs her husband to live, if she's a good devoted housewife than she will be treated liie a princess
That's ideal not realistic. So many women cheat their husband.
If she cheats than she's worst than a b*tch and same to him, people who have the feeling that they can't commit to one person better stay out of marriage...
Whatever works for the couple. For us, we have our own money. My husband pays the rent, I pay for the bills and food. That works for us.
Good for you, you're a working wife, of you were a housewife, would you like to hear from your husband that his money is your money too or it doesn't matter?
We have 1 bank account and all money goes in there. There were lots if years she didn't work and looked after the kids and it didn't make any difference. We make decisions regarding money together.
Unless you have a prenup - it already is, as part of the marriage contract
Sheesh, you ever read a book?
Nope it doesn't have to be
When the man asked his wife to be a housewife, he agreed to it. He also shouldn't be so surprised when they divorce, that he'll pay her alimoney because of it.
Tnx for your insight
Well, since women make between 65%-85% of consumer spending decisions, it's pretty clear women are in charge of the household money.
Yes but he gets a veto on her spending decisions.
One I would never marry a woman like that. Even if I was rich she's getting a job. A woman that doesn't work isn't worth a damn.
Tnx for sharing
Nope.
If a person earns the money, it's theirs, not their spouse's.
no. i think that "housewife" needs a damn job LOL
Her job is taking care of her husband and kids plus doing the house chores and cooking delicious meals š
and the husband can't also take care of the kids? she ONLY does all of the kids, chores, cooking, which is a 24/7 hour job, while the dude only works 8 hours and comes home and wants to be served? no.
Yes, is there a problem? Well you said no, others will say yes and would adore this role, by the way i work less than 8 hours a day š¤£š¤£
im trolling you dude
Okay, i guess you got me ā»
If they're married, yeah.
That's one of the reasons I don't want marriage
šš
If they're married, Yes.
Tnx for sharing
In truth--nothing is yours... And, that goes for women, too. You share everything.
Somewhat agree!
Yes..
Haha no, I don't date bums.
