I know some might be unusual but here's what it takes for me. Doesn't watch porn, is genuinely faithful. Would never have me worry about other women. Shares my main values and is on the same page when it comes to children and their education. Will be reasonably accommodating about the values he doesn't share or things he will respectfully disagree with. Open and honest (doesn't mean rude) about his feelings and doesn't lie to avoid confrontation or an unpleasant discussion. Sounds like common sense but apparently not for men so I'll add it: picks up after himself and is able to not bum out if I'm not caring for him at some point. Doesn't have his mom or globally his family as a first wife. I know I'm never getting married but it's fine, I'll take loneliness over lifelong commitment to someone incompatible

I think the first thing that indicates if a man is marriage material is if marriage is something that he wants. It’s also important to me that he and I share similar values and a similar vision for the future in regards to family. He ought to be honest and open to communication. I definitely love men who are considerate of others. 🙂

so if a guy has a university degree, he's sweet to you, he has a good job, saved money, is close to getting his own place, made smart investments, cooks/cleans, doesn't party/doesn't do drugs/doesn't ogle at other women and is faithful and sweet to you where he will help out with chores or the little things like he makes sure you eat before him. That would be a real guy, but unfortuantely a lot of girls in the west dont care.

God grants wisdom and discernment. When a woman chooses whom to marry, it may be that there are two guys with that same description and she just simply has to chose. If she's a Godly woman she'll make a good choice. But if it's a worldly woman and you're a Godly man worth considering, if she just slings you along or drops you completely-she has her own issues

Because there's a girl i know and i do like her but when she talks about her ideal hunky man is henry cavil, i assume thats the guy she wants, 6ft+, muscular, I've watched the superman man of steel movies and even as a guy i was in aw over henry cavil's physique and thought, damn if this is what she loves i can't replicate that body.
