My sister who is my maid of honor and I’m super close to wants to throw me a bridal shower. My fiancés aunt and cousin have also told me they want to throw me a shower. I love them all very dearly and am touched by their wanting have something special for me.
I’m having a smallish wedding (under 100 invited) and would only invite about 25-ish people to a shower. With it being so small and also not having a big registry or needing/wanting a ton of stuff, I don’t think it warrants having two showers. However 3 people is probably hectic to coordinate together.
I’m not sure what to do in this situation so no one is hurt or feels rejected if I say “Please don’t throw me a shower.” Has anyone dealt with this and how did you handle it?

Ah man, that's pretty cool they all wanna throw you a shower, but I can see how it could get messy with that many people tryna plan it.
Maybe you could talk to your sister first since she's your maid of honor. Explain the situation and that you don't want anyone to feel upset. Then suggest that she takes the lead planning it, but that the other ladies can still be involved to feel included.
Like your fiancé's aunt and cousin could help with decorations or food or whatever. That way your sister is in charge but they both get to contribute and feel part of it. Maybe even have a group chat to coordinate so it's not too many cooks in the kitchen.
As long as everyone knows only one actual shower is happening, but they'll all get a role, they should understand. And you could make sure to thank them all tons afterward so they feel appreciated.
Good luck working it out! Just be real with them that you care about not hurting feelings more than who throws the party exactly. I'm sure if you communicate well they'll want you to be happy more than anything.
