I know two people who have been together for a few years & their getting married in a few months.
They're both 25.
Do you think it will last?

Honestly, it's hard to say if a marriage at 25 will definitely last or not. A lot depends on the couple and how ready they are. Here are a few thoughts:
- 25 isn't super young anymore like right out of high school, so they've probably been able to date for a few years and really get to know each other. That helps.
- But people can still change a lot in their late 20s and into their 30s too. Careers, life goals, wants for the future might evolve as they get older.
- If they've lived together already and experienced life ups and downs as a couple, that's a good sign they know what they're getting into by marrying now.
- Communication and compromise will be extra important since they'll keep learning new things about each other for years to come.
- As long as they're committed to the relationship and making it a priority even when life gets busy/complicated, they've got a decent chance.
Overall, I'd say marriages around 25 can definitely work out long term if the people are right for each other and willing to put in the work. But there are no guarantees - it really depends on them as individuals and a team. Hopefully they've thought it through and are ready to tackle whatever comes together. Fingers crossed it lasts!
Obviously and very sadly no one will ever have the answer to this.
We (husband and I) lived together for almost six years before tying the knot five years ago... At that time I was 25 and my husband was almost 28.
Thankfully with hard work, and keeping everything crossed, we are still as strong today as we were when we first got together eleven years ago.
i personally still think that's too young. most couples i see like that, end up divorced in their 30's and having no idea who they are.
