What’s a better idea for this situation, if and when it happens?

If I get married, travelling interstate, as my boyfriend and I discussed it and he cares more about his wedding day than I do and he dreams of getting married on a beach; and there aren’t any close to home in NSW; or going to the Central Coast? In which case, all or most of my friends could attend and we could still find a decent beach more easily? My boyfriend and I are poor. I’d love us to go to Queensland, but I doubt any of our friends could afford to book a motel room for themselves. Also, I know they all get stressed out by travelling too far from home, as many of them are Autistic.

Keep it simple. Have a small cosy affordable wedding locally so all of your friends can come without having to stress about travelling long distances to attend.

If you want to travel you can always do that for your honeymoon instead?
