I certainly do because of so many reasons.

I want children and their father should be fully committed. Also, I believe that men marry women they truly love and respect ❤

Besides, I can't wait to enjoy all the wedding rituals including adorning my hands with intricate henna designs and walking around the fire with the groom wearing a beautiful red lehenga vowing to stay together.

I want to celebrate the sacred union.

I was at an Indian wedding and it was pretty cool :) My girlfriend wasn't feeling that well so I had to leave earlier than I wanted to but one of the relatives of the bride who was our friend told me about everything and it was nice :). Personally I have a lot of things I'm working on in my life atm I'm not thinking about marriage. I don't know about the future, I'm less opposed to the idea than I used to be I guess but it will still take a lot.

Since I'm autistic it takes a lot of energy to constantly have responsibilities always think of someone elses needs, always be social be around someone. It will take a lot for me to sign up for that for the rest of my life. Or I still need time where it feels like less of a burden. Also the financial risks have to be considered.

I do like the more traditional aspects in India where the man is still expected to take care of the woman more but is also more respected and compensated at the wedding from how I understood it.

It's complicated but atm I'm not interested.

I admire your naivety, but marriage isn’t all roses and happiness. I thought as you do, having these utopian feelings of what I thought marriage would be. Even if you truly feel crazy about your partner, in reality marriage is going to involve significant effort from both sides to make it work. There will be a lot of times you’ll wonder why you even got married in the first place and eventually your ability to work through problems together is what strengthens your relationship.

i wouldn’t trade my marriage for being single again- but it took a long time (more than ten years) to us to get to this point It wasn’t easy. So long as you recognize this, then best to you

Personally? no The entire institution is archaic at best and it needs to be fully removed from any legal structures before being considered.

In the west especially it has become too much of a financial risk with little to no benefits to becoming a husband.

Marriage has become nothing more than a symbol of a bygone era best left to the past and forgotten.

Look , I'm really old , but I'd love to get married ( only once more though ) , I was only married once , very long ago , my reasoning would be different , and I'd think on account of my age it should work , but I would also be extremely cautious of proceeding , but I know all the tricks , so lets see.
