Women claim marriage is worse for them while men claim marriage is worse for them... Which would you say marriage is worse for?

women claim marriage is worse for them. That they have to be subservient to their husbands every need at least according to the bible while men claim marriage is worse for them because he is expected to do everything for her plus work and eventually end up divorced and lose half of everything he worked so hard for. I know there are a lot of people both men and women who still believe marriage is a great thing that should be sought after too. What do you think?

Divorce is the reason it can suck for men and Marriage expectations need to be talked about beforehand that way people don't go into it blind just to find out the man or woman is expecting a certain role out of each other.

My mom had the bad end of the stick. My dad was a serial cheater and did shady things with money. After the divorce, he left behind everything, even his kids. Now he is mooching off a wealthier women who was his patient and taking care of her kids.

Its a generational thing I suppose. Older people love marriage because when they were growing up it was considered a good thing. White Pickett fence. Mother and father both involved in the home. Children and a dog. Cookouts in the backyard with neighbors. That's not what today's youth seem to invison at all.
