When it comes to comfort & safety, who wins, the housewife or working wife?

I surely believe that the housewife is a lot more comfortable and feels a lot more safe than a working wife...

For example:

When it comes to comfort:

A housewife can wear whatever she wants inside her house that makes her comfy while a working wife can't...

A housewife can make her own schedule to work insise the house while the working wife must follow the schedule of the company that she's working for...

A housewife can sleep or relax anytime she wants during the day if she feels very tired or sick while a working wife can't and if she wants to, there will be a trauma...

When it comes to safety:

A housewife is safe inside her house while a working wife might face a lot of bad things at the work place or on her way to the workplace...

A housewife can live without the need of working outside and being harrassed by her boss...

She can live without a paycheck, it's not like if she works she lives and if not than she dies...

A housewife do not faces flirting, harrassement or rape... etc

And the list goes on!

working people can also wear comfortable clothing, if you mean to dress like you have zero responsibilities in this world and being in pajamas all day? sure... but some people feel just as comfortable in working clothes, even in biker gear... so that goes down to the person

a housewife can make her own schedule... this is the most wrong of all, lmfao

a lot of housework is not predictable, could be because of the weather, something going off, unexpected visits, something broke... and it becomes even more of a hectic task, if you add children and pets... lol, you're not considering people being sick either, depressed or just in a terrible mood, stress, fed-up and what not... and a lot of working people have more flexible schedules or are self/employed, they work remotely, not all companies are as strict, and not all jobs are 9 to 5 either...

a housewife can sleep or relax any time she wants... I'll just let moms to answer this one, lmfao... and yeah, people do find some time to sleep at work, they SHOULDN'T but they do it sometimes, lmao... in Spain, it is actually a cultural right and tradition

a housewife is safer at home, sadly... no, not always, especially on very bad neighborhoods, unfortunately, sometimes... when bad hombres know that a woman is alone at her place or it just her with the kids, they can take those chances... also, a house is not the safest place on earth either, a lot of people working or not working do die at home, or get into horrible accidents too, and most people know about this, lol

a housewife can live without harassment from her boss, sure... if she does not have a boss... but the very moment she goes out of her place to fill up gas, take the kids anywhere, do groceries... women will get harassed as pretty much all women get harassed at some point... housewives are not confined "to the kitchen" 24/7, no...

All I'm saying is some of the things you've mentioned apply in my case and some don't. I love being able to be at home with my children... I am their 1st teacher, before they ever get to school. I also enjoy creating and maintaining a calm, peaceful home environment for my husband and family, as well as having the opportunity to so some volunteer work in my community.

Also Tony, a housewife is not plugged in to what we all take on out in the world. She has her own vibe that is a comfort to her husband and children when the kids are in school. She is patient and calm unhurried by society. She takes pride in the home she runs. It's clean and organized for her loved ones. That's a mom and wife.

All depends… I was a house wife for 3 years. I hated!!
the women who stayed home were lazy and a disgrace in my book.

one have to have the tv on for background noise. While the kids play. And she talks to the other house wife.
the other was fat and only knows how to plan kids bday 9 months ahead. And can’t seem to work but on FB posting her amazing life all the time.

to me… a good house wife is one who stays home for 3-5 years. Kids back to school they go back to work… make enough money with hubby to have a part time babysitter to help out.
Once kids in school, they have no business to stay home all day!

while home 3-5 yrs… they job is to have proper structure with kids. And teach kids to do housework and clean up after themselves.

they should not be on social media kids should never be on the phone or iPads or TV.
our families are falling apart because kids are raised by iPads. Instead of moms.

How many are teaching their kids finances? How many insisted the family sit together nightly with out tv and actually talk to each other. How many care about their husbands feelings/needs? And discuss family finances together weekly?

These can be done with a working mom as well.

I can see into a person's soul to know when they're not telling 100% truth, but I can't tell you what they're lying about or why, lol. There was an example from a group I used to help out... everyone told me this one kid was a bully and a big problem, etc. But after talking to him calmly -- not accusing, but just talking -- I found his problem and we talked about it a little for several weeks and after that he wasn't a bully to anyone anymore because he knew that protecting a lie wasn't worth letting his heart and soul stand empty. He's a very nice young man now... I think he went into some kind of marketing thing (something new the kids like today) and is very happy with his young lady.

I do carry some pain from an extremely fundamentalist background, and I'm afraid that bled into my response. I witnessed many, many stay-home moms who are barely able to make ends meet because their husbands are convinced that God will provide (whether he personally works or not). He is in "ministry", usually (translation: conning people into subsidizing his life in the name of God). The man believes it's "God's will" for her to have children until she can't. Sometimes, that means over 12 kids, and sometimes it can mean over 20. But, "God" will give her the strength to do it and if she feels overwhelmed, it's her fault for not trusting or having enough faith.

Sometimes I get the impression that guys think it's easy to be trapped at home all day long with no help and a half a dozen small children, do everything that entails, and educate children on top of it. Then, the man gets home and needs to "relax". And, he needs a home-cooked meal and raging good sex on top of it (whether she feels like it or not. She rarely does). If she doesn't feel like it and puts him off, he feels justified in having an affair because she failed him.

Hopefully, that gives you my perspective on the whole housewife thing. Sorry, man. Not directed at you. :(

It's true that we all depend on god but not in this way, god gaves us arms and legs and a brain and he told us to get up so he lift us up, it's not like we lay in bed and wait for god to throw on us piles of cash without moving our a$$es, sorry but this is called stupidity, we must work hard and do what needs to be done THAN depend on god, in this life there is no magic, if god wanted to give us everything without the need of working or thinking than he would of created us like statues and he does everything on behalf of us!

These men are lazy and makes such lame excuses so that they get away with their actions, by the way, we cannot have a big number of kids if we aren't able to raise them in a decent way, you make calculations and see how much you can afford and than you will see how much babies you can have, these people acts like animals, they just bring kids to this life and throw them and away and say god will take care of them! 😒

A housewife is a human being, just like the housewife assures that her husband receives everything he needs and make him happy and resdy to sacrifice herself for him, he must be ready to do the same for her!

It's true that ONLY the husband have the right to access his wife's body and have sex with her whenever he wants but he must take into considerstion if she's not in the mood or tired or sick, no wife would say no to her husband if there wasn't a harsh excuse, imagine if he's tired or sick and his wife force him to sex, so what he doesn't accept on himself, he shouldn't accept it on his wife because they are one!
