The wedding day should be to celebrate the couple itself. They and/or their families are also the ones that paid for it. I find it very inconsiderate and selfish to take the focus away from them for even a moment at their wedding.

I would never do that at someone's wedding and I would hate it if someone did it at my wedding. It should be a day for the couple and their families to remember. I don't care if it's the best friend, sibling, or brother doing it. In my opinion it's wrong.

Yes it would. Especially to the bride. It’s her day. You’re taking away the spotlight from her to focus it on yourself or whoever it is that is getting proposed to. Just wait. If it has to be that day for whatever reason then wait till after the wedding is over.

Most of those flashy public proposals are rude and inappropriate. I would be mortified if a guy did something like that. At that point he deserves a public no.

Not the best place for it. Why steal someone else's thunder by proposing at their wedding?

It's rude unless the guy with the garter proposes to the girl who caught the bouquet 😉

It depends how. Like I saw this one the other day (sorry bad lighting). And the bride was not only in on it but help orchestrate it. What amazes me is all the negative responses from women talking about how it ruined the brides "big day". And these women wonder why no guy wants to marry them.🤦‍♂️ I think this is beautiful that a best friend would share her day like that.

So i think it's ok if you get the bride and grooms permission. If not, do it some place out of the way.

Proposing at someone else's wedding without their consent is EXTREMELY INCONSIDERATE. If someone pulled that shit at my wedding, it would be the end of our friendship.

It's rude because you are drawing attention to yourself and away from the wedding.

You are stealing attention from the bride, and that is not good.
