You should wait for marriage as best as you can! As to avoid bringing baggage into your marriage. I heard a good saying by a Pastor I know, who counsels hundreds of people, before they get married he tells them how to do things right. He says "Don't marry that person" yet they often tell him things like "but I don't want to be single, and I love him/her so much. He tells them "Would you rather be single for a few years, than marry the wrong person and be stuck with them, or all the problems". They often don't listen, and then end up in his office a few months after marriage. He said "the biggest problem in marriages is that there aren't really marriage problems, because marriage problems are things like, "you left your clothes on the floor", but there's before marriage, single people problems." So basically that, the biggest marriage problems he is seeing in marriages isn't that the person left their clothes in the floor and that upset the other partner, but that people go into marriages having A LOT of baggage from when they were single, or before they married. So it's always best to do things right

I used to be waiting for marriage as a teen, but not anymore after I was 21+ years. old. Now I'm just virgin & abstinence. But I also don't want to just jump into sex and lose it just like that. I'd rather prefer to be in a romantic relationship that's committed first before having sex, just so that way both me & my partner are on page. Because if you aren't, then you might possibly regret it. But that's why you spend lots of time with them and communicate.

It depends on the situation if you’re with someone and you know that you both want to marry one another and are SURE…. Then why waste time just get married.

However, the last thing anyone wants to do is rush into marriage and find at best you’re not happy and at worst someone’s not who they seemed to be. I've always believed that there should be a double standard regarding the issue of premarital sex. I think most relationships are best served when the woman has a fairly significant number of sexual relationships prior to marriage, while men should generally have either no sex whatsoever, or a very small number of physically intimate relationships.

In my relationships, it's somewhere in the middle. Don't have sex on the first date, get to know each other and be comfortable with each other, but don't wait for marriage to have sex.
