Did you design your own/your significant others engagement ring?

Have had the opportunity recently to design my own engagement ring which is really exciting. I'm hoping it turns out well 😬😊

I had my wife's ring designed down in Jamaica. She liked diamonds but loved emeralds (her birthstone) so I selected the primary diamond and added some baguette diamonds and emeralds on either shoulder of the primary diamond, set in a white gold band. It was quite nice.

We went to a local jeweler and my fiancée (now my wife) selected what she wanted in her custom-made ring. I guess you could call that design.

Personally not interested in marriage but my mum & step dad designed their own engagement and wedding rings and they turned out amazing. They had them all custom made on Etsy through a ring maker in Holland.

Not an engagement ring, but my boyfriend did create a custom ring for me which was completely sweet of him.

I never bought an engagement ring. We were saving to buy a house and it seemed like a waste of money. A few years later I bought my wife a gold ring with diamonds in it.
