Does anyone still want to get married and have kids?

Lately, I've seen a lot of people saying that they have no interest in having kids or getting married. Everyone is entitled to their opinion etc but I've seen so much against it that I just wanted to see if anyone still has that goal...

It's a great way to formalize your relationship, to tell the world that yes, you want to have that commitment with another person. Can you be in a happy relationship without getting married? Sure. Being married is not always easy, you have to persevere, but it's worth it. But then again, I'm a hopeless romantic.

Having kids is not the same as liking kids. There's something unique in bringing a new life to this planet. You're suddenly responsible for a human being that is completely hopeless and needs both of you, you and your partner. Having kids turns your world upside down. There's nothing that can prepare you for it.

I attended a wedding last month where the traditional man-woman couple, in their 30s, not only wanted to get married, they are already planning to have kids.

So, to answer the question, YES... there are still some people out there who want to get married and have kids.

That's good, because without that, humanity would not survive.

I think there is a lot of truth to this. For instance I have several girlfriends all around my age early 40's never married in and out of relationships and very comfortable like that. I wasn't much for the idea of marriage either until out of nowhere this guy comes into my life and wow I am so happy married now with 4 great kids. If the daily world news wouldn't scare you away from starting a family certainly the cost of raising a family would rattle around in one's brain as well.

This is my second marriage and I loved being married.
I also have two teens… I love having kids and have build an amazing family of my own.
my little sister is married and having her second kid.
my two older siblings are married and have kids.
I love my big family.

others who want to be single … tell me more when they turn 60-70 years old.

There's several singles in my family, but most are married or dating seriously. Some of the younger are more skittish about getting married.

I count 9 years, is good, better than first started. Time flies by. I was single and alone a long long time... I'm getting cooler... haha. Took some work and change though. Keep that in mind.

As a child growing up being successful getting married and having children that was my dream as a child only to have my dreams crushed by the likes of the country being invaded by foreign invaders and feminism. By the time I reached 21 which was now 38 years ago due to the lack of jobs careers for men and female materialism I pretty much knew then I would never get married though hanging on to maybe have children.

As time went on it was first one thing then another foreign invaders taking jobs and a entire system designed against men and I learned men can't adopt. I have since given up on the idea of both marriage and adoption too.

No. I'd be almost 70 by the time they were an adult. I think that stage of my life has sailed. Which is funny because you'd be amazed how many women my age still say they want kids. I want to say, "b**** didn't you get the memo"? "You're kind old now".😆

It may be medically possible but it's not fair to the child. There's a reason why women are not meant to have children at this age. Just my opinion. I don't begrudge a woman for wanting to have a kid. And I'd rather an older woman who loves their child than a young one that doesn't. All I'm saying is really think what you can give to that child if you're my age. Most mothers my age will tell you they wouldn't want to try to raise a child at this age (at least most mothers I've talked to. That's the consensus I've gotten). I think some of these older childless women are just wanting an experience they never got. Again, just my opinion.

You already know my answers. I'm too old to have kids and I'm unable have any romantic relationships because I don't drive and women find men more attractive behind any steering wheel. That's one of my most rejections I get from people. If they want to be friends that's super rare for me but I can't go on the romantic bridge because women don't like being uber drivers for men who don't drive at all. That's how it is where I'm from
