I've known young women to express admiration for silver foxes. As men age they acquire more of sense of authority and command. I hope I do!

I imagine if such a man has respect then the status he has is attractive to women. His status protects her and women like to feel protected. Plus he is likely to have more resources.

Back in the stone age, the woman of an elder of the tribe would have elevated status and get more of the food resources as would her children.

We know women have a preference for men to be older from marriage stats and 10% of marriages have a 10 year + age gap. So it is not common but is not unusual.

9 out of 10 times it’s because the older man is likely more established and can provide for her (money).

But it can also about viewing the older man as more mature and compatible. In general women mature emotionally much faster than young men do. Especially at your age. Most teenage girls are way ahead of teenage boys when it comes to this. But this is a generality and there always be exceptions.

Also I do not believe this is “socially created”. This is due to thousands of years for evolution. That doesn’t make it right or wrong. That just makes it is what it is.

It's nature. Females are physically weaker and less aggressive and therefore less able to provide for and protect themselves and their children so they are looking for someone who can provide and protect. Older men are more able to do that because they have more wisdom and more means.

The "means" part is why it is often said that the younger women are looking for money. And it's true because they're looking for someone who can provide and protect. And the more wealth the man has and more capable he is of doing that.

Most common reason is money , other then that could be because they met too many immature men , who treated them not the best way , so more likely older men will be more loyal , taking care , for some females that gives feeling of safety and trust , obviously older man more likely to take care of a younger lady , because they consider them lucky , older men who has plenty of money , they only "buy" younger woman and merry them , it is just another contract in them life , just a usual business 😳🤔👀

It's because they manipulate them and control young women who are in a weaker position in life financially with their male privilege and money. It's creepy old predatory like P. Diddy, Harvey Weinstein, Jay Z, Jeffery Epstein, and Donald Trump that go for young women and girls because they are ugly and would have no success with women if they didn't have power and control over businesses and careers.

Jay Z at age 27 said he was just friends with Aaliyah who was 15 years old at the time. Why would a 27 year old man want just to be friends with a 15 year old girl? They don't have anything in common. He just wants groom her and use her naivety to take advantage of her and use her for sex.

Sometimes they may just be an older man and the women is of age, but it's still similar the woman is in a weak position in life so a grown man shows her money and then he takes advantage of her.

They promise a good life at first, but then they abuse the women later on
