And if you're a believer in god. In today's world
Still yes but at the same time no...

I've been married before and everything was got that piece of paper and then everything changed.

And in time I tried every To keep it together , but there became a point in time where I just was Not happy anymore I gave her everything and walked out the door with Two pair of underwear , two t shirts , two pair socks
And then the nightmare came LO. L

But anyway Many years down the road I had a friends with benefits Relationship. That changed the way that I looked at everything because it was real. It was beautiful. I could be myself. I could laugh have fun. And I knew in that moment. That piece of paper was only because if you believe in god it states that you have to have that paper.
I think that paper changes everything

And I do believe the two people without that Piece of paper can be just as happy or even more happier And that only gives a Deeper respect trust responsibility loyalty To each other in a much beautiful And a much beautiful better way

Truthfully when marriage is necessary it doesn’t lead to genuine marriages. It leads to people ending up being used like nothing else but when two people genuinely want to be with one another. That’s another story.

Look some people either never find the right person or just choose to never marry that’s okay. But when people marry for money, status, just to have kids, etc. It leads to a life of misery and eventually divorce. As well as cheating

I think marriage has become a personal thing. Not required for some people yet others still love the formal commitment.

I think God wants us to be married but in the Old Testament, men had wives and cuncubines so I’m confused

I think it’s a good thing for some people. It’s a formal and legal commitment to your partner. It’s probably good if you plan to have kids as well. I agree it’s not for everyone, but it has worked for me and my wife for 40+ years.

I realized that I would be okay either way, whether by law or the Church... if the person I love and want to be with for the rest of my days, if she wants to marry I will definitely marry her, but if she didn't believe in marriage I would be okay with that too
