Is marrying your baby mama, a societal thing, or a genetic thing?

I'd have to look it up to see the percentage of how many people actually marry their baby mama but, is that a societal thing, meaning, we make rules that we are SUPPOSED to marry them, or, is that just built in, to our DNA?

It is both. It is universal throughout time that some form of marriage is constant ... until very recently.

For a custom to be universal it needs to have a strong genetic basis. So it is both culture and genetics.

Religion would have this taught this to us. That you aren't supposed to have kids out of wedlock
