For me, that would depend on whether this scrap collecting is for a business or hobby where it will be sold or organized or if it is because of hoarding. If it's for a business or hobby, that's fine. I don't really care what type of job my partner has as long as it's legal (and not a sex worker, which I wouldn't do even if it was legal) and I don't care what hobby she has either as long as it doesn't make the house unlivable. Hoarding would be a major concern because, while I'm not the neatest person in the world, I do like to be able to freely move about my house and have relatively easy access to everything that's there. I've been in the houses of a couple of hoarders and do not want to live like that.
i mean if that's a long term viable and sustainable business, why the heck not? it seems like a very eco friendly thing if someone can actually make a good living of that.
