Money is indeed important, but it shouldn't be the only factor to marry a person. I would not date a man solely for his money. I believe a man should be the head of the home and provide for his family. But if he has no desire to do so, I don't see the point when I can make my own. A man can easily use the money to tempt or use you and even abuse you financially. I've seen it first hand. So I am not stupid. Even if a man offers, I wouldn't.

I've dated a pretty wealthy guy (not for his money, I wasn't even aware of it) and it made no difference. I reluctantly accepted gifts but would return the favor when the opportunity presented itself. Money is nothing if they're not worth commiting to.
