It works for some but not others. I, for one, am not into the idea of being considered second to someone else. I know you will counter by saying the woman is not second, but by definition if you are saying someone is the head, then everyone else is now less than the that head.

If someone wants to live that kind of life, then more power to them, but it should never be forced on anyone and unfortunately there is a push in this country to reverse progress we've made in here to give men more power over women again. That's horrible.

I don't mind him being the head of the household because neither of my 2 husbands took on that role at all. Everything was always left up to me even though I had to work full time.

If I am confident that the man knows what he is doing and doesn't screw things up being the head of the household then I could relax for the first time in my life and let someone else run the household. But he has to know what he is doing and doesn't throw us under the bus!

The head Honcho. The man that takes care of the wife and children. That makes all the financial business decisions and the leader and runs the family. But I think it’s OK to get the wife involved on certain things so you can get some good wisdom and advice so you can even feel good about your decision on certain things. The man is the protector the leader and should always be respected by his family
