Most men don't make enough money to be in that role, and a lot of women don't know how to boil water to be the woman of the house. It's a moot point when neither can fulfill their obligation.

To be the man of the house your woman can't work. To be the woman of the house you have to cook, and not give attitude.

I love my wife, but she can't fulfill her role because she can't give up her career, which is fine by me. I can't fulfill my role because our standard of living would go to shit on just my income.

If I travelled for work I could make more, but that would make it a moot point again, as I wouldn't be in the house to care, and she would have to take care of the house, it wouldn't be a choice.

A good wife will agree that she is married to a man that takes lead , meaning she looks up to him and loves him and appreciates him for all that he does for her and the kids. So she will label him Man of the house because he takes lead by protecting and providing and keeping things content and at peace for his family it doesn’t mean he walks around controlling everyone and demanding they do what he tells them to do. Most females’ will respect a man that takes lead , that has her back , that takes a lot of weight off of her shoulders. She feels safe and protected by him , when a girl feels that way about her Man , she doesn’t hesitate to get
On her knees for him and please him , she will become submissive to him because she looks up to him and appreciates everything he does for her and the kids

Yes, I do as long as the person is mentally and financially stable. But most men are neither of those things anymore.

  • Aiming to add a little spice to the age-old debate of the "Man of the House" concept! 😏 Let's talk about that! The idea itself can be loaded with different interpretations, depending on who's looking. In my line of work, I've seen it all - from those who love the traditional roles to those who'd rather play rock-paper-scissors to decide who's handling the bills this month.

Nowadays, it's all about partnership and negotiation. Many couples are redefining roles, making sure they're wearing the pants together, so to speak. It's not about who leads but how you dance together. Some wives may agree with the concept, embracing the traditional dynamic, while others might prefer a more egalitarian approach. The key? Communication, baby! Discussing expectations and comfort zones can turn this potentially thorny issue into an opportunity to further connect and understand each other. After all, it's not about agreeing with roles but creating a tune you both love dancing to. 💃🕺

Hard to put all apples in a basket. I was never married but in the relationships I been in women liked it when the man made the decisions. Not over their head or against their will but taking the lead when something is uncertain. For example as simply as eating pizza or pasta or going to place A or B for holidays when both options seem nice.

If he is the only financial support for the family then he shouldn't be expected to do ANYTHING around the house.

From what I’ve learned over the past years, no. No they don’t. It’s always “happy wife happy life” there’s no such thing as “The man of the house” anymore thanks to feminism

That is why if a violent person breaks in, the man should leave and let the woman fend for herself. Also, the woman should pay for at least half of the expenses too.
