I have owned a pair of skullcandy headphones and while I do think they have the best sound quality you can get for under $30, I have to say CSIERNCIS is right about the build quality. The pair I had practically came apart on their own in about 3 months. I replaced them with a pair of clip-on earphones I got from CVS for $12.99 that don't have as good of sound quality, but they don't come fall out when you're active and they still hold together after over a year.

SkullCandy headphones are RUBBISH, I've stuffed 12 pairs in 12 months, I'm a certified sound technician which means I know my audio.

Sound Quality on most of them are tinny and they are uncomfortable they don't recognize the high freqs in the audible spectrum. They come apart as easily as cake. they are poorly made. The quality is just as bad as the Apple Headphones no disrespect to my fellow apple guys, I know my stuff. If you want I can go in to more detail in another post.
