Do Guys like Handmade Gifts?

My 1st year anniversary is coming up and I have already gotten my boyfriend a sword and guitar hero 3, I want to make him something, but not if he won't like it.

My sister spent months on a great gift she made her boyfriend, but he told me later that he really didn't care for it and I found it in a plastic bag buried under lots of stuff.

Is this true for most men, I know that everyone is different but generally do men not really like handmade gifts.

Hey maybe this will give you an idea. Here is my idea of a great birthday/anniversary gift etc. from a girl.

She gets up early cooks fancy breakfast. Later on in the day she makes a pretty good dinner. I'm a wine junkie so I'd dig some good red dry wine (everyone is different) with the meal.

And even just a simple card that would say something sweet would make it a great birthday.

A cologne/shaving cream maybe after shave is always a great gift. We do need that stuff, and usually too cheap to buy the good stuff, and go with the average.

Just show him that you care and it's going to be great.

But DO NOT get him dinner trays lawl.

All guys a different I would like a handmade gift but you have to choose the right gift like a frame for a picture something like that but even if he does not like it he will still like your other gifts trust me lol.

I'm not sure.

All I know is on New Years I just made an I love (heart) you bead thing and he kept in on his dresser or in his pocket until a couple weeks ago. When school started back up he started wearing it on his belt loop every day. When we were at a football game goofing off it fell off somewhere. When he realized it later when we were on the phone he sounded so upset.

Still, my guy is different then most, and a lot of guys I know probably wouldn't care for it. You know him, you decide.

Well, my boyfriend is a man who doesn't need anything material. He is blessed with money, so getting him a present for our first anniversary is hard. I made him handmade flowers, and he loved it. So it depends on each person.
