I absolutely LOVE thrifting! We have some of the best thrift stores in a college town! Like zero old people stuff, everything is young, and there is even a “vintage clothing” thrift store in town here, and I LOVE it! It’s getting harder to find good quality, low-rise stretch jeans, but this place always has them. I got some awesome denim skirts, and a few beautiful summer dresses last spring. However, I don’t care HOW amazing they look, or that they are exactly my size. I will NEVER wear used underwear… not even $150. Hand made French panties in silk and lace, for $20.00! NEVER! Nor shoes, I'm not ever wearing someone else’s shoes… unless, of course, we’ve been friends since middle school, and then fuck her, she left her red Manolo Blahnik sling-backs in the living room, and I was wearing the perfect red cocktail dress to go with them. It’s like she wanted me to wear them, frankly!

I've never really done so before, as I don't think we have too many in the UK, but I'd be open to at least looking in one.

You never know what hidden gem you could find for a fraction of it's original cost, although there may be doubt about a designer brand being authentic.
