We call opp shop , my daughter loved it in Australia , I don't mind the idea , but I never quite had the patience looking for the gem of a particular size , plus now in Australia the prices in the opp shop are just wayyy too high , and I didn't like the smell. They probably have here in Thailand somewhere , but I have never really seen , private people do it at markets.
I do not like it when it already smells like chemicals in a store. I often buy clothes second hand. The quality of the old fabrics is much better. Today there is too much fast fashion. Which you throw away after a short time. This is not only bad for the wallet but also expensive at the end of the year. Apparently, people have enough money. I also buy only natural fabrics. Cotton linen or viscose.
I LOVE thrift shopping. I guess that 80-90% of my closet consists of second-hand clothing. I just like getting some original stuff no one else has and high quality garment cheaper than normally.
Oh yeah! But at comfortable & relatively clean looking thrift stores. The one near me is so small that you can't even comfortably look through clothes because you have to constantly step out of the way to let people walk through the extremely narrow isles. 🤦♂️

i don't like it... i never thrift shop before just in the recent time. i don't like it because it exhaust me there's no different option for sizes and here no air conditioner so it's so freakin hot. also at times i imagine what if that clothes are from someone who died 😂
I am a proud thrifter. I like second hand and vintage items. I think they can be better quality than what you find in a store and cheaper. Also, you can feel good about not contributing to waste. It's fun to find items that no one else had thought to look for. It's like treasure hunting.
I don't care for it and I'll tell you why. When I was younger my mother always bought my clothes from second hand stores, but she bought my sisters clothes brand new. I always felt like I was less than my sister I can't bring myself to get clothes in there for that reason.
I like it but where I live in the US, Goodwill monopolizes the market. They are crooks and charge way too much for what they have. Also they came out and said that they throw away 90% of the donations they get.
I love it I don't go as much as I used to but I used to go and buy silver watches any type of jewelry antiques toys I used to be heavy and collecting things but I've kind of backed off that and I go for just tools now
I like Facebook marketplace, I typically am not a fan of thrift stores anymore though because they realized thrifting became a trend and have upped their prices to profit more.
I don't but my wife does. She finds great clothes for next to no money. I love her for doing it, because I hate to try on clothes. I'm happy to watch her try clothes, I just hate to do it myself.
My version of thrift shopping is a reclaimed lumber and stone yard, and yes I enjoy that quite a bit.
Yes i do, but there are hardly any good stores close by. The nearest one is ghetto asl 😒 i mostly shop for 1990-2000s vibes
I do, but even that is not cheap nowadays. In some cases around here, the second-hand clothes cost just as much as the brand new.
Always; the finds are usually cool, the older the clothes generally the higher quality the fabrics and assembly, and the prices are great.
nope... I just can't, mildly germophobic here, lol
Yes, I have bought some good stuff at a second hand store, In the town where I live there is a swap shop. I found some stuff there as well.
I do. But finding something that i can wear is hit or miss with me. I am 6’ 2”.
My wife does. She likes it better than supporting big box chains that get apparel from child labor. Tho it’s resold child labor. Arms length child labor (rimshot)
Not usually. I prefer new things that things that others have worn or touched.
I don't care for it. But hey some great style in those stores. Not going to lie. So shop away sweetie 😉
yes, i love it! a lot of fun and i often find cool stuff.
i don't even like shopping. it's a womans thing, typically
I never really shop for clothes but I do understand the enthusiasm behind it and I like that
