If you do, have you found anything interesting or valuable while shopping at these kinds of places?
I've found some cute purses and semi expensive clothing for good prices as well.

Yes I do! I have found some books, including some newer ones in good condition like Cloud Cuckoo Land. I have found shoes, including Maxwell suede flats for like 10 in great condition where the original price is 90. I’ve found a cowhide clutch wallet and a sequined “Vegas” jacket. I’ve found good quality jeans like Levi’s. I have found some nice dresses and comfy sweaters, along with miscellaneous household things like a handcrafted olive vase from Italy and a useful wall key holder. I also found a hamster cage that almost looks like a nightstand with just a missing tube for my mice. I have found dressers and my kitchen table there. Man I could probably tell you more. I have also found a lot of nice clothes and shoes on Thredup if that counts.
I don't mind going shopping in op shops. I used to go a lot when my mum was alive. Then I stopped but while I was pregnant, I started to go to op shops again and I found quite a few clothing items here that I brought.
I found a brand new dress that still had the retail price of $89.99 on it. I got the dress for $14. I also found another brand new dress with the price tag from the retail shop on it for $59.99. I got that dress for $10 which I ended up wearing during my maternity photoshoot.
I found a heap of close to brand new baby clothes in the op shop as well, which I brought for my baby.
Indeed, though mostly for furniture, sometimes for acapulco or paisley shirts, because I like them, but don't like paying a lot for them. The only really interesting I ever found was HDPE 40 gallon barrels one time from spoiled juice, I got a couple to use for trashcans, gardening, water storage, and giving to a friend who was making a pontoon boat.
They were like 4 dollars a piece, so giving some away was close to zero loss. I was more curious how and why they had so many barrels.
In some cases. I rarely bother, anymore because I just don''t have the room for anything and I'm TRYING to get RID of a bunch of the junk in those house my aunt cluttered it up with!! IF I go, I only look through the records, mostly just for Delta numbers rather than to actually buy any (I've already got 62,000) or the skirt racks to see if I can find a couple nice scooters.

Yes, one year down at our Thrift Store found a pair of Men's shorts, and they came in handy for me and there are some cheap coffee makers you can purchase I really like them ours is also a Salvation Army.
Sometimes. I found a framed Tolkienesque painting in a frame at Goodwill for like $7. We are talking 4'x6' That is feet not inches. I sometimes find decent guitars at yard sales that "don't work." Usually it is just a bad solder joint. Picked up three MIM Fender Strats like that for around $300 total.
I don't have the occasion, there aren't any store like that here
Love it
Gold and silver, my skinnbekladnad, my leather jacket, assorted silk ties, a Victorian police truncheon and more
