Should I keep my HP printer another 30 days, return it to Sam’s Club under their 90 return policy and then purchase a new printer?

That way, I get another brand new printer with full toner cartridges. It is a good printer so why would I do that? The reason is HP claims the warranty starts when Sam’s purchase the printer so my warranty is only 9.5 months instead of 1 year. I attempted to dispute the purchase date but that requires an original receipt that most places don’t give you when you purchase on line.

Sam’s Club sent an email but I must log in to view the order with gives the details including the delivery date. However, would not accept a screen shot.

I also sent my Sam’s credit card statement showing date, price, and model number, but HP didn’t accept that as a receipt. I also sent a photo of the FedEx shipping label on the HP box showing the model the shipping date and weight. And, from the tracking number, you can find the date and time received.
