Few people have a need for a color inkjet printer. Yea, you might want to be able to print out a color photo some day. But the benefit of maybe at some point printing a color photo is outweighed by the problem with inkjets. Namely clogging, drying out and expired inks.
Just get a moderate priced black and white Brother all in one laser printer. Each print is really cheap, especially if you buy after market toner. If you don't print anything for two months. You don't have to worry about nozzles clogging up. The darn thing will last practically forever.
If on a rare occasion you want to print a photo. Go online and order a print. Those services also provide prints you can't do at home. Such as large format, on metal or glass.
Now if you are someone who still prints photos a lot in the 2020's. Sure, get an inkjet. But if you really care about photo prints. You should be investing in a proper photo printer with the 7+ ink tanks. To handle a wider range of colors.
Canon megatank is better if doing colour. But both are shit compared to colour laser.
Three things to remember about any ink tank plan:
It will always be slower than laser
If a tank clogs - you've lost all that ink.
It is rarely worth the cost, compared to alternatives.
We got one of those the beginning of the year and I looooooooove it. I do quite a lot of print of printing and it's barely made a dent on the ink levels. Also it's wireless, so my husband prints stuff from anywhere he needs. If you have a small business then I would definitely recommend.
Which Model is it?
Nozzles clog or start to leak. Replacing of printing heads is as expensive as complete cartridges for other models.
I turn my laser printer on after several months if inactivity and it prints, with ink printers is this never that way.

I really do not know. I do know that the color cartridges for the HP printers are really expensive and if this is a cheaper alternative it might be good for somebody that prints high volume color copies.
Once you see the word "Epson", don't bother.
Absolute shit with no reliability - and I am speaking from a reliability engineering perspective.
Just get a laser printer. Ink based printers are a scam.
I have no clue
I don't know.. I don’t use it
Hell no - lots of money for not much ink.
If it's inkjet then no, toner is the way
Yes..
If Shaq says so!
