+1 yThrift shoppes probably account for about 50% of my clothing. I really like thrift shoppe couture; it's fun to make things fit together, to just try on new styles I normally wouldn't think of, and it's so cheap I can walk away with a dozen tops, bottoms, scarves, whatever and it's maybe $50-$100. So basically the cost of 1-3 items from regular stores. And the jeans naturally have the "worn until they have holes in them" look you'd pay $400 for elsewhere.

I pay $8.99 I buy socks and underwear from a bargain place like Costco or Ross.
Shoes I tend to buy online, and spend more on than anything else. There are a few other specialty items that I buy online such as my motorcycle gear, scrubs for work, or sport-specific gear/clothing (like a wetsuit, climbing shoes, or jujitsu gi).
I also have a lot of clothes purchased while traveling, probably about 10-15% of my wardrobe. This is also fun fashion, to mix different styles from around the world.

+1 yI used to mostly go to tjmax, Macy's sometimes GAP. But I got tired of the shit quality and I bought some shirts and a hoodie from American Giant which I love their quality but the style wasn't really for me.
So these days I go to Nike, I really like ksubi too and Nautica. Sometimes I'll go to NY and just take a look at what's there from small shops that are owned by small designers. You can generally get hand made clothing that looks great and is one of a kind for prices that generally make sense.
I figure I already have a bunch of cheap clothes that I've had for years, it's not such a bad idea to slowly put together a nice wardrobe.

So it depends. Jeans I buy only at levis because they make jeans that fit my ass and my long ass legs. Shirts anywhere cheap (usually chinese shops) Socks aslong as they are mostly cotton i will buy them. Bras and panties i go for more expensive shops because they last.

I buy my clothes from Savers and my shoes wherever I see shoes that I like (usually vans/converse/doc martens/flats/thigh high boots)
Clothes = thrifting
Shoes = brand new
I love thrifting because I find things that I won’t find elsewhere.30 Reply

Well it is a female only brand, so it makes sense that you have heard of it. Perhaps your mommy likes that brand. The other brands don't make sizes small enough for you.🤣 - +1 y
@bigpauly I will leave you alone now, maybe we will take it easy on you for a few days
+1 yMostly malls, but I've also purchased online before.
I usually wear dresses, and they're from M&S, H&M, AND, Fig, Chemistry etc. Depends.

+1 yHonestly I shop anywhere. If I see a store and I like something they have I’ll go and get it I don’t rlly have a preference. Now I’m leaning more towards sustainably sourced clothing thought after I learned a few things about the fashion industry so that stuff is usually online

What does S stand for on here? - +1 y
@msputiton There are 3 levels of mods. 'm' for Moderator, 's' for Super Moderator and 'u' for Uber Moderator.
Moderators can hide opinions and replies and their reports are prioritized. Super Mods can do that plus hide entire questions or MyTakes. Uber Mods can do that, plus freeze user accounts. - +1 y
By freeze, I mean like this spammer here:
Girls, What does it mean when a girl doesn't believe you like her and asking her out why does she think it's a joke? ↗ - +1 y
@PrettyPriya oh gotcha thanks. I thought it had something to do with mods but had no clue
I knew U and M. But recently got someone with a S following me, and i was like 🤔 - +1 y

What's worse. When your fixing something on your house. You got it thrown apart and turns out you need a pipe fitting or something. Now you have to take that 1 hour drive to the city. Just for a stupid pipe fitting
