I like both cleaning essentials and essential groceries I can shop online. As actual food, I need to see it.
I can do some clothes online but I for sure putting it on so I can see right then and there if it doesn’t work or not.

A little of both. For large brand name household items I prefer online since there is nothing to check. For books, clothing, electronics, food etc. I prefer in-store.
I’m addicted to online shopping but I really prefer in store shopping as it feels so satisfying and the product we buy offline seem to be more likeable.
Thanks much!

Put me down for "In-store." Largely because I am a 19th century man in a 21st century world.
Yes, it is true, I am on this site. However, beyond that, I still carry a flip-phone, I've never "texted" anyone, I've never looked at a Facebook page. God knows I have never been on "Twitter." In fact, I subscribe to the old fashioned maxim, derived from Henry L. Stimson, that "gentleman do not tweet."
As far as online shopping, only books - and that because I know exactly what book I want. (On a slightly related note, when I moved the movers estimated the weight of my book collection at over 2 tons.) Even then, there is nothing like browsing around a good old fashioned bookstore and discovering some hidden gem of a book. You can't really do that on a web page.
As to the rest, especially with clothes, I would rather see and hold what I might buy than just look at some electronic picture and throw the dice. There are better ways to spend my money.
Bottom line, as Ellen Glasgow said, "All change is not progress as all movement is not forward." Always true, but never truer than when applied to online shopping.
For me really depends what, something that is one fit fits all online is my way, like tech, cooking atuff, software, games
If its something I need fit for like wears I always prefer in store so can feel it, and maybe try it out
Food fresh stuff I prefer to pick in store, anything closed I am good ordering online
Definitely online, there’s more choice than in a shop, not only that I find the items are much more cheaper than in a shop, and the best bit is is you don’t have to queue and you don’t have to lug it all home on busses as it comes straight to your door, all you have to do is bin the packaging so it’s a lot better.
I hate shopping. Especially clothes.
I only do it if I actually need something.
But I do go in person to buy clothes because it can get tricky and I don’t have patience to repackage an item and wait 5 days for a refund.
If I want something quickly, I shop in-store. If I'm looking for the best deal and willing to wait a few days to get it, I shop online.
after the bullshit today... online.. fuck people
I’m totally with you, but honestly it’s the people in real life that are out of their mind
@Justneedtokno I had a woman today block the isle as I was pushing my cart. she's like "is it far enough over". I said "no, next time dont block the fucking isle"
Lol 😂 poor thing That’s just like this lady that sped up to get a parking space when I was already leaving
in store, I like to see or feel what I'm getting
Preferably in store but i’ve been doing it online since 2020
In store is a lot of hassle where I live. Too crowded and you have to pay parking fees
Online as much as possible... I hate going in stores.
@KrakenAttackin we no longer have malls here but I don't like crowds nonetheless. I actively avoid groups of people as much as I can.
I completely agree.
Online - especially for lingerie, stockings, etc... :)
Mostly online so I can be lazy. When it comes to major purchases I want to there in person.
Prefer in store. Online is for when I can't find it in the store.
If I can buy through Amazon, I buy there, but otherwise I go to the store.
I would rather go in a store, buy it and walk out.
I would say a little of both.
In store by far I like to try my clothes on to make sure it fits properly and make sure the clothes are heavy duty not cheap thin clothes
Store, I hate waiting for things I buy to arrive.
Everything online besides food
in the store
