I normally prefer to shop at the store (especially for clothes because you can see how they fit/look on you BEFORE you buy) but today I ordered a bunch of stuff online for only $40 total (praying it all fits/looks good 🙏)

As for me I’m an in store shopper especially when it comes to groceries, clothing & stuff like tools, towels, blankets etc. As or online orders if I need parts for my vehicle or a few months ago my dishwasher had a heating element problem I had to order a flood switch so I ordered it online. Mostly I do in store shopping.
I have to order shoes as shops don't have my size - I'm one above the highest typical female range. But I like in store shopping now.
But everyone needs to be careful of this now many stores are charging extra for returns one of them said it's £2.50 per returned item while others are saying it's £1 or more to return each item.
In store. I never shop online (I can't, I don't have a credit card).
You could always get a prepaid card to use online
I prefer the store.. Just so I can check the quality of things.,
But in the last few years a lot of shops closed ( bankrupted) or just search for a beter location. So now I have to buy online.. If I don't want to I have to drive more than 180 km...
yeh economic slump 2022 in u. s.

Online, I used to prefer stores due to the convenience and lack of delivery times and fees.
But these days it feels like the selection in stores has really gone downhill, and it has also become more economic to price hunt, even in spite of the delivery fees.
This was the first time I’ve bought anything online so we’ll see how it goes when my stuff comes. But have to say I went to Walmart yesterday, bought 3 items, spent at least 15 minutes waiting to check out. And yeah looking at some stuff as was walking to check out, it looked like overpriced crap. And all I could think was how much stuff I bought online that would have cost way more in store from the comfort of home, no waiting in line, so it might not be the last time I shop online
Yeah, it didn't use to be that way, but the prices in stores have gone up considerably compared to online prices.
Worth mentioning is that where I live, delivery services are required to deliver packages right into your hands, and you can even opt for payment on delivery.
With those guarantees the delivery itself has never really been a concern for me.
Very true. Brick and mortars can't hold anywhere near the selection that a warehouse can.
It really depends. If I need to try something on (clothes, for example), I prefer the store. The store is also preferred if I need something quickly, can't wait a few days for delivery.
On the other hand, online shopping gives many more choices and is usually cheaper.
Overall, for me, it's probably 50-50, store and online. Unfortunately, that's not a choice in the poll.
Damn, that's hard - not in that way. =)
There's aspects of both I prefer, because on one hand, there's more you can buy online, because there's only so many stores out there, but on the other hand, when you're in store, what you see is what you get.
It really does depend what you want, like clothing is best in store, so you can try before you buy, but if I had to pick one, I'll say in store, due you seeing what you get, as fun as the other option may be.
Online mostly the varity is AMAZING. u can find the most unique stuff and creative items that usually u won't find offline. But when it comes to clothes or shoes i refraim from buying them online. The picture ends up not looking like the real thing or it won't fit
95% in stores. I want to touch, smell and test the exact item I am going to buy. Also, I boycott Amazon. They will never see a dime from me.
Yeah this is the first time I EVER ordered ANYTHING on-line…
Ten years ago I ordered an OBD-diagnostics-tool for cars. German shop, German address, all fine. Joke is on me, that shop was just the front for orders, warehouse and shipping was from China. Customs intercepted my package and I had to pay import taxes and fees. Fvck!!! :-(
The place I ordered from heard about from a girl at work who orders stuff from there all the time, so sure it’s legit
Half and half, depending on different variables.
I’ll shop in-store because of familiarity of whatever item (s) I’m looking for and I don’t mind driving a tad longer.
Online, if it’s a bulk pack of something or an individual piece of something that the store doesn’t have in stock or is available online exclusively.
I want to walk every square inch of the store and see everything, pick it up, hold it, imagine what I can do with it and enjoy my time.
Shopping on line is boring.
I prefer to go to the physical location. I'll browse online to find out what exactly I need, but as much as possible, I like going to the actual store. I want to give them the business.
I'm an inside shopper.
If I go online and they deliver it to my house, there's a big chance porch bandits with find it and take it. So then what?
My mailbox place costs me 50 cents per day. All my packages go there. I just bought some night driving glasses. Had I drove all over town looking for them, I would have probably came up empty handed, burned a lot of gas, and wasted half a day.
I had Amazon prime, but it seemed pointless. You get free shipping and crappy movies. But if you just spend 30 bucks, the shipping is free. So if you need a 10 buck item, just look around for 20 more bucks worth of stuff. Garbage sacks, soap, etc.
I'm like you I want to shop in the store I want to see and try on my clothes cause I'm so tall everything doesn't look good on me. I shopped on line before and it was a horrible experience
Don’t say that lol you’ll jinx me lol I just ordered clothes online (first time ever) and worried how they’ll really fit…although the last dress and romper I bought in store didn’t even try on and they fit really nice, so 🤞🏻
Oh you'll be fine they look good cause you have a cute figure
Thanks 😊
Your welcome 😉
I look online, but I shop at the store/Mall
@Brainsbeforebeauty I like to try it on when shopping for clothes
I usually do as well
At the store, preferably. But it is fun to shop online sometimes, for items that you can't find in stores.
I shop online often, but honestly, when it comes to shoes is when I run into issues and need to return them, lol.
Yes.
Some things I do on line, everyday items, things that I use all the time and I can save money on, others I need to physically check them out in person and then look on line for a better price and see if the store will price match.
If they don't then I get it online.
Online because it's much easier and there so much more choice but I do enjoy in-store shopping too
I usually prefer in store shopping even though I dislike dealing with salesmen. Particularly with books it's just nice checking out a good bookstore in person. Problem is my favourite bookstore closed because of covid.
I prefer a store but sometimes I can only find the things I want online and not in a store.
I like in store shopping as I can try on clothing for example and touch the fabric to see if I like it. But online is often cheaper.
Well said… So true… I got a lot of items like 13 things and spent only $40, in the store one in alone would have been $20
* item
I prefer going to the store. That way I know exactly what I'm buying.
I prefer to see, palpate, examine, etc. what I will be buying. With the reduction of B&M (brick and mortar) stores, though, it's not always possible.
It depends on what I'm shopping for. If it's something that I want to feel the quality or check the fit, I'll shop in store. If it's something basic, I'll shop online
I do prefer the store but lately I have bought more things online.
This was my first time slipping online and yeah I actually think will do more… I was very skeptical Scott buying clothes off all things that you can’t try on, but got my order and everything fits perfectly… I got so much stuff for only $38-40 bucks… in the store, I might have gotten two items for that price… plus didn’t have to deal with long check out lines, rude people or anything like that…
Online.. like from sites like Shopee/Lazada
because it's a lot less work... I usually get out of the house only when I want to see a movie at the cinemas or eat out at a restaurant or am buying furniture
I need to see what I am buying up close.
Also, I worry about the environmental damage when shipping and returning items, all of the packaging, etc compared to in store shopping.
100% 0nline. Hate shopping in a store and don't have the time. I get everything delivered.
I like to go in-door shopping cause it gives me a activity and I don’t need to be sitting/laying down
It's case to case somethings are best physically others are better online
depends with my work schedule and whats easier and what i need to get. i tend to hit the store more then online shopping
I shop both. Online to save time, and in real time to shop for things I want to compare at a real store. Sometimes window shopping is fun.
I prefer to shop at store but if they don’t have what I’m looking for, then I will shop online.
The sponge bought the whole stores in the state for just 10 dollars 😂
It all depends on how much time I have and how interested I am in getting something. Otherwise I prefer both modes of shopping.
I buy some stuff online and some in store it'more like that
I prefer online. But in store can be easier with some items. I just don't like stores. I find customers can be annoying and well I am not good around social interaction and I don't like it at all.
I like to go to the store. Just try it on, buy/or not, and I'm done.
I am in store only for clothes and shoes but for anything else like jewellery I do both
Depends on the product. If it’s clothes, I prefer buying them in store. Reason being, it gives me an opportunity to try them on before I buy them.
i love online its sooooo easy.
Plus i can look forward to it arriving in the post.
Another thing that makes me happy.
speaking of which... had a spectacular wank today if anyones interested
Online. I like to take my time
Definitely beats waiting in line at the store for 20-30 min to buy 3 items 🙄
Online for clothes. In store for food
I like to visit stores
In person, I just find it to be more fun
depends what i buy
when it come to lingerie, i prefer online
If you're in-store shopkeeper then i definitely prefer in-store shop 😘
If it's basic things I'll do online pickup
I prefer to shop at store
I like both
Online.
I rather go get it than wait
Typically in store.
Store

In store
