I'm not seeing a shortage of eggs at my supermarket but their price has almost tripled.

I went food shopping the other day & it was insane when I went towards the egg & there were less than ten cartons on the shelves. Prices did go up & I don’t need eggs that bad.

Like, eggs are still an amazing value, but the prices on them and a lot of other stuff is just disappointing.

There is onion shortage going on here and it sucks because i love onions.

Luckily my stores have onions however the quality isn’t too good.

20 years without buying eggs? Outstanding & how many chickens do you have? I have a few eggs left & I’ll wait a few weeks.

We have about 300 hundred laying hens. I sell to local grocery stores and to friends. Family gets free eggs.

300 hens? Wow! How many eggs a day to hens lay?

Winter it varies it can be as low as 20 dozen

But in the summer is egg production peak. We get an egg from every chicken

See winter the hens would lay more. If we gave them heat and locked them up.

But if the power would go out and since the chickens are not used to the cold.

We would lose almost all the chickens over night.

So we raise our chickens the old fashion way before there was electricity

we sold out around Christmas but i don't buy eggs usually so i don't know if the price went up. i think it's around $6/carton and they were stocking the eggs last night and it was full

Eggs are expensive in shops but I know a few people who keep chickens so don't have supply issues

Nothing else has been problematic to get
